One Jar Custom Formulation?
Is That Possible?
Select your ingredients
from a long list of options; Elsom Research
will formulate them for you using our
proprietary technologies.
Elsom Research
has always been the source for custom small-batch formulations;
the Elsom Research minimum batch size of 2Kg was much smaller than
anything available from mass manufacturers, making it possible
for a small business to order a custom batch with only a small
investment.
With The
Formulator, Elsom Research has taken the next step in formulation
flexibility; the minimum batch size is now one retail-size jar,
as small as
14gr (one half ounce). The one-jar batch size makes it possible
for consumers to try new combinations based on
their own
ideas rather than selecting from the limited offerings of manufacturers;
the price is calculated based on the ingredients and technologies
selected, and can be re-calculated endlessly in response to different
selections until an acceptable combination of price and content
is developed.
To begin using
The Formulator, a
consumer is asked to choose an area of interest; depending on the
selection of a facial formula, facial cleanser,
scalp formula, shampoo, or formula for other body areas, lists
of appropriate and compatible ingredients will be presented. Choices
can be made in ingredient categories such as essential oils, botanical
extracts, vitamins, and many others. With a flexible and growing
list of available ingredients, the possibilities may not be infinite
but they are certainly many, varied, and exciting. |
